Hey guys, I'm asking for help form each and every one of you. I'm asking for prayers for my little 18 month old niece. She is in the hospital right now fighting for her life. Here is what happened. While staying with some family members, she was sleeping in bed with the couple. The mom got up around 6am to go get her kids up. When she came back into the bedroom around 7am to wake her husband up she didn't see Briley in the bed. She was under the pillow and the husband had rolled onto the pillow. We don't know how long she was without air. She is still in the hospital. They are turning the ventilator down little by little to shee how well she can breathe on her own. For any members here with a Facebook page, there is a facebook page called "our prayers for Briley". You can go on there and get some updates and also post up a prayer if you want to. We are gonna print out all the responses and make a book for her parents. Thanks guys, the family will really appreciate any prayers! |

Thanks to everyone for the prayers. They are helping. Today, the doctors will try to take her off of the ventilator. Please, if you can, say a prayer that she will be able to breathe on her own. |

Here is an update on baby Briley. They took her off the ventilator today, and she was breathing on her own. But, due to the swelling of her glands and tongue she was having to work really hard to do so. The doctors decided to place her back on the ventilator ans put her on steroids to help with the swelling. They will try again in about 48 hours to see if the swelling has went down. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks again, Scott |
