I finally gots enuff monies gather up today to pays mines.

I really do enjoy mines East-Texas and mines great county that I git to lives in ..... but dang it .....

I know how you feel...I have 6 acres...I bought for $6000 an acre...Neighbor is selling 1.5 acre lots starting at $48,500...My other neighbor just sold his 10 acres with a small 3 bed room no garage for $300,000...My taxes rocket every year...I thought I would have a nice quiet country place...Wrong!!!! People are build all around me...Oh well my shiat is worth more then what I paid for it.

ive heard how bad Texas' property taxes were. My sister lives in Spring and for one lot, her taxes are about half of what ours is here. And we have over 400 acres.

shit I got 30 acres in the phuckin boonies that I clear cut three years ago and aint done a thing with it since... phuckin looks like the end of the world out there, and the tax man told me I owed him taxes on land that was worth 64,000.

I told that sucker to write me a check for 40k and he could have it for a good deal. He didnt find that too funny.

Yep, just wrote my check. I graze horses/cows on my back piece of property so that I can claim an ag. exemption. Helps some

I'm gonna steal some of Tanners chickens and try and get an ag exemption!

My boss said something very true to me once. He said you never really own property, you just lease it through taxation. He was very right. You should see the property taxes in Virginia Beach, an acre with a 2 bedroom house costs about 250-300k here.

Me and my wife have been hunting for a lot under 60k forever, no luck. If you want an acre here, it's gonna cost you 80ish. Bullcrap.

My great grandpa payed $12 an acre for his homeplace when he was younger than me, clearcut land and plowed fields to pay it.

They are sellin 1/2 acre lots around it now for 10,000.
