My 6.8 SPC loaded with some SSA 110 grn Sierra tactical loads has been very effective on the hogs I've shot so far. Glad I finally got into the AR game

With FFL it would've run me about $850. The wife talked me out of buying it there. She asked if I really felt comfortable sending a check for that much. I told her I was then, I starting looking for reviews on the company and they didn't look so well. Academy had them for $950, but I ended up going to Barney' this morning and getting the M&P15OR-MOE. It was $950 and came with the Magpul stock, handguard, grip, and mag. It has the front sightpost but I didnt't realize until the day before yesterday that it will not affect seeing through the scope. Some say the only time I may run into trouble is in low light situations with a cheap scope. I'll just get a riser or gas block later if I need. By the way, don't put a .22 cal scope on one. A guy at work is a cheapskate and put one on his and the reticle fell apart. lmfao.
