 Safety "Whip" Flag Poles
I just bought me a couple from Checkers Industrial Safelty Products is the place I was looking but ended up getting on off Ebay. 7' tall, different color fiberglass to choose from, $13.76 / each looks like free shipping too. www.checkersindustrial.comI figured with the rides coming up it would be a good idea to remind people that a good safety flag can prevent a bad accident especially around blind corners etc.

 Re: Safety "Whip" Flag Poles
this is a good point Coe...it would be a good idea if you have a flag or can get one to bring one to the SETX ride because there is going alot of people there and we have already had some accidents

 Re: Safety "Whip" Flag Poles
Gator Tail and Pro Drive used to give them out their to Customers at the Poker Runs at Lake Fausse Pointe, but that run was stopped a couple years back due to some "issues"!

 Re: Safety "Whip" Flag Poles
I just ordered 2 from ebay. $35 is cheap for a little piece of mind about my passengers and my safety.

 Re: Safety "Whip" Flag Poles
Flags are required down here in the glades. I use a 10', 1/2" fiberglass pole and attach a flag to it with zip ties. Works much better than those thin fiberglass poles most places sell. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/DYNAFO ... Pid=searchNathan

 Re: Safety "Whip" Flag Poles
Anyone know what size pole will fit in a seat mount? Thinking about putting the flag on my bow where I have an in deck seat plug so I can put a chair on it... What size pole? I don't have my boat near me to measure can someone give me a number? I like the Grainger one too, thanks for chimming in I'll run that one while on the open bay w/ no trees to worry about
