Post Crawfish Question
I figure you guys will know the answer to this. I am headed to Mississippi to do some fishing in a couple weeks (west central MS) and was there last year and saw many places that sold crawfish.
Having never eaten them due to location/availability, (Northern IL) I have a few questions.
-Do they sell them alive?
-If so what is the best way to bring them back north (12-13 hours)? Ice? Water?
-How many pounds of them would I need to feed 8 adults?
-About how much will they cost a lb?
-Are they even available this time of year?

Thanks

you could feed them with a 40# sack and put them in a icechest with a towel on top and ice on top of that
