 Prayers Please................ Found out earlier in the week my Grandpa has terminal Cancer and being placed in Hospice this week. Hit me pretty hard. A good part of my family is from the south. I spent many summers with my grandparents as a kid and have many memories that are flooding back. Grandpa Ray was the man I wanted to be as a Kid. He was Retired Navy Man and had the biggest Popeye forearms I have ever seen. When he walked in the room I was always in awe of him, his presence always demanded respect and we all love him very much. Looks like I'll be driving to Anderson, SC soon. I plan on taking my 2 kids as there is family they have never met and may never meet again. Grandpa is the glue that kept us all in touch..........Seems like yesterday that I was running in the woods across from there house looking for snakes and getting into trouble, I'm a Wisconsin boy but a part of my heart will always be in the South, because of Him................

Re: Prayers Please................ I have been there brother. He will always live in your heart and mind. My grandpa has been gone 13 years now and every day something will make me remember what he did for me and the great and not so great fishing and hunting trips we had. May God bless yall and help you through this.
