Maybe some of DGuidry's clients can chime in on how to hotwire it.

You can mount a couple toggle switches to turn on the ignition and accessory circuits, and a push button to turn the starter. I don't know if you have a steering wheel lock or not and don't know how to bypass that if you do. I'm sure it can be done though...

www.the12volt.com should have a wiring schematic for the ignition harness.

I havent messed with an old chevy in a while, but u can change switch, Or there is something you can break and it will allow acces to turn the ignition witout a key. That also gets rid of the steering wheel lock. But them old trucks are so simple to make things work just get in there and figure it out.

You must be getting ready to go to Duhons on Sunday huh?

Put a screwdriver with a square shank in it and turn it with a crescent to break it.
