The Real Royal Wedding - Trout Killer Finds Salty Soulmate
Felt the need to share:
As originally posted by Texas Tackle Factory on my site:
While the world’s attention was drawn to the nuptials of William and Kate across the pond, two local celebrities scurried to tie a double clinch knot of their own.
FISHILEAKS has learned that the “Prince of Saltwater Soft-Plastics”, TTF’s Original Trout Killer, recently wed an unknown soft-plastic of a similar variety in a private ceremony at TTF’s headquarters in Victoria, Texas. A FISHILEAKS agent, operating under the guise of a caterer, infiltrated the event. While the operative was not able to attain any photographic documentation of the ceremony, he did provide FISHILEAKS with some valuable intel in the form of audio recordings.
The intel gathered from the audio files is vague as to the origins of the Trout Killer’s new partner, but one quote uttered by the Trout Killer’s best man (a Killer Flats Minnow) at the reception is particularly telling about the attributes of the new Mrs. Trout Killer.
“They always say opposites attract,” the Killer Flats Minnow announced to guests in his customary toast. “For as long as I’ve known Trout Killer, he’s always been rugged and tough. Mrs. Trout Killer is curvy, soft and full of life. They compliment each other perfectly. I think these two have many years of fooling trophy trout, redfish and flounder in their future.”
Based on this quote we can assume that the new Mrs. Trout Killer comes from a “softer” upbringing than her hard-nosed, blue-collar husband. And in spite of their differences, they both seem to share a common thread of being irresistible to inshore fish of all species.
FISHILEAKS is still in the process of analyzing the recordings gathered at the ceremony, but much of the audio is difficult to decipher due to the incessant rattling of Alameda Corks and Salt Shakers. FISHILEAKS will release new information pertaining to the origins of Mrs. Trout Killer as it becomes available.
THIS JUST IN...
FISHILEAKS has just received a candid photo of the couple on their honeymoon in South Padre Island, Texas. The photographer that sent us this picture told FISHILEAKS that shortly after this shot was taken, the newlyweds scurried into the surf and proceeded to catch multiple limits of trout up to 31 inches in length before retiring to a luxurious, four-story soft-side tackle box for the night.
FISHILEAKS: Keeping tackle manufacturers honest since 2010.
