I need to get a winch to pull my boat over some levees where we hunt, I have a 17ft gator trax with a 35hp mudbuddy. What size winches to you guys use? I'm thinking 3000lb should do, but I don't want to screw up and not buy enough winch. |

3k should be enough. Can pick up a Promark (formerly Gorilla) ATV winch off Ebay for cheap. |

Unless I'm on a ride somewhere I have no need for a winch because there is nothing to hook it to anywhere that I run. |
