Here are a few pics of the rig and some ships that came in the port.I spent 18 days there.We worked 16 hour day rebuilding the Draw works and working on the Mud Pumps.The rig is key side and receiving a complete overhaul.We were the only Americans.Most of the crew was from Scotland and U.K. area along with all the Norwegians.

This is the drum from the draw works.Just a big winch.

Pic from the Helideck.

The derrick and wind walls around the drill floor.We had 60-70mph winds.

Having a cold one.One day we got off early.A SIX PACK COST $23 US DOLLARS.Jim Beam and coke was $13 each. :evil:
