 Morgan City Bridge
Saw a white Chevy with a Pro Drive sticker in the back window pulling a boat trailer that "had" a flat with a longtail GD pulled over on the bridge. The boat had come off the trailer on the bridge and was dragging behind the trailer. Two Po Po where behind him to either; aid and assist or f*** with and laugh at. I don't know. I've never had anything like that happen to me before but man that has got to suck. I checked the winch and strap on all 3 of my trailers this morning. I'm also thinking about getting tie down straps for my boats. I'd hate to be in his shoes someday. I recommend everyone check their winches as well and if the guy who this happened to yesterday reads this could you tell us what happened?

 Re: Morgan City Bridge
I seen that too, whenever I passed the boat was on the shoulder of the bridge and the two cops were trying to move it over more. No truck around though. I did notice the cops laughing when I passed

 Re: Morgan City Bridge
That always sucks. I had my spare tire bolts rust out and the spare tire fell off on top of the Sunshine bridge at 4 in the morning coming back from frogging. It fell under my trailer tire and we felt the bump and had no idea what we hit. Then we felt the trailer tire go flat. Got down the brige and pulled over in the cane field, saw the flat, "No problem, we got a spare....Where's the spare.....Ohhh, thats what that was. Un hooked the boat to go get the spare so no one would reck. The spare had rolled all the way back down the bridge. We got it and it was busted. Dayem!!!. Left boat in field, went get spare off friends boat, came back hooked it all up and sun was rising and friend had to go to work. Sucked for him. Glad I didn't cause an accident. It could have been bad. Luckly there was no traffic. Now thats a story to tell your grandkids. Got a flat from running over my spare and blew out the spare!

 Re: Morgan City Bridge
I always run a second chain to the bow just in case the winch strap breaks, and i run transom tiedowns.

 Re: Morgan City Bridge
yea J..... it ain't u bro, it's da rest of da world dat's F'd up. lol happened to me once..... loaded da skiff on da trailer at Marshfield LATE one evenin'.... first lady pulls da truck up.... jump out da skiff to hook it up and got "sidetracked". We was headed over to Joel's house to finish off da night... I was followin' Chambers. We commenced to playin a lil' game of "look at all dis black smoke comin out da tailpipe of my 7.3 powerstroke" on our way to Joel's house..... when I turned into Joel's driveway I checked my mirror like I always do to look at my trailer and low and behold my trailer was empty. Turned around and der my skiff was sittin right in da middle of Ed Broussard Rd.
