Hope that lawyer takes care of ya. This is one of the few times when I'm all for suing the chit outta somebody. Sounds like the kind of chicken chit stuff the railroad pulls.

I dont have room to tell the whole story, but I worked for an electric co-op in sc for 28 years, and served in almost every position there, I had an electric contact across my chest and back on july 7th. got some nerve damage to my spine and possibly some other issues. problem is. while out on workers comp, my company searched my company truck and discovered a pocket tape recorder that I used to record an abusive and hostile supervisor over a year ago. It was taken from my lunch box , but said that it was found loose in the truck. the CEO and HR played the tape, and called ME in and fired me saying it was a breach of trust, not that it violated any policies or was illegal, "which in SC it is not illegal". I have lost everything including my insurance . I have an atty but its gonna be expensive. SO, please keep me in your prayers and any advice would be appreciated. I have always been blessed and am still blessed, just gotta get across this hurdle. I am still under dr care and cant even go and get another job so I can have insurance. thanks for your time and prayers. |

They called it a breach of trust. What, they're supposed to trust you not to complain about them being abusive and hostile? When they breached your vehicle and privacy by playing the tape? Hope it all works out for ya man, sorry to hear that. |

Damn dude! Prayers sent. I hope your job wasn't "employment at will" because that could make it harder for you. As a non lawyer ....don't post/discuss/mention anymore of this case. CYA!!! |
