Way to remove a tick from a dog?

I take it the tick is dug in pretty good/deep?

Put a dab of vaseline on it or get some of the wife's fingernail polish.



Wife bought some kind of "tick remover" that is basically a measuring spoon with a v cut out of it that works pretty good if they are not too deep

just rip it off, but don't squeeze it too hard, use some tweezers and grab it as close to da skin as possible..... if it's dug in deep and da head tears off try to get it, but it'll work it's way out sooner or later.

When they're dug in that deep..... all those little "tricks" to get them to come out on der own make da tick vomit first. disease/infection is far more prone to set in from that than it would be from da head gettin ripped off and left in der......

at least dat's what I found out during my research last yr. when I got a tick in my beard during huntin' season. lol

Think I still got the head of one stuck in the back of my leg. Never got infected, may have came out with out me knowing but still got a scar from where it was.

What about heatin up a knife and burnin the tick. They seem to back out pretty quick. Don't know about them vomiting and such.
