Example of stupidity... Same cat.
One night the touch screen went out on my machine and I couldn't get to my settings to change something. So I call him and he comes over and I tell him my screen went out and I needed to make some changes. So he looks at it a minute then says "maybe the bulb went out in the back". Really? You've got a machine that's worth a couple hundred grand and you think a 40watt is in there somewhere illuminating this computer touch screen? Yeah that makes sense to me...

Cooper has the best management. That's the main reason I don't work there anymore. Really how can a 24 year old supervisor be worth a shit, he might have experience supervising a couple democrats at your local KFC.

Oh well. I'm off a couple days and hopefully the weekend will go better.

My opinion on many supervisors...for what it's worth:

If you got a front line worker busting his butt, doing a good job, good work ethic...upper management thinks, "We need to keep that guy out there producing."

You got a front line worker that is a slug, shows up late, needs help with everything he does, takes away production from your good guys cause they are constantly helping him out....upper management thinks, "We need to get that guy out of production and see how he works out as a mid-level supervisor."

At least that has been my experience! I'm seriously thinking about becoming a slacker and hanging out on MMT all day!

I work for Cooper Tire. Just got a new job within the plant so hopefully it won't be too long and ill be building tires.

Lol. I've been on this same job for almost 10yrs. I like it but it's extremely physical and it's about time to do something different. I can fix most things myself even though it's really not required of me. I find its much quicker than calling and waiting on a super and less downtime that I have to catch up on. If I call someone then something is really jacked up
