 boat launch at I-10 and Trinity river
i heard that the boat launch under the bridge at I-10 crossing the Trinity was open again. does anybody know if this is true. thanks.

It's open but I don't know how excited I would be to leave my truck there...
You have other options like Wallisville Locks and Hugo Point which are on either side of that launch.
THE only bonus for that launch is that it puts you North of the locks on the Trinity River when they are in operation.

Both sets of ramps are nice, I wouldn't even leave my old truck under that bridge!!!

We had some conversations about the ramp in question this morning... 2 bodies have been found near there over the years & countless break-ins. It was out of service with the construction going on with the Trinity bridge that went in. Construction has since finished & the public access / ramp has re-opened. Again I would never launch here without having an armed guard watching my truck while I was out.

I launched there for years before the construction and never had a problem. Y'all launch at the locks and I'll have my spread out before they even open the gates for you.
