I use the old camp netting on my whole blind but it's the stuff from the military so its not reflective or it doesn't rot like the cheap stuff from the stores and I have no problem killing birds in wide open water in the woods I actually hang moss in it the night before but u have to leave the blind open over night and close it in the am before u leave or it will turn green and rot

The grass added to the net will make a world of difference. Paint or dye the raffia to match what you hunt most. If you do this don't skimp on the raffia though. I add it to my grass blind & it looks very good.
