ohh yeah. me and maxxis built one out of pieces of a metal barn that got damaged in a hurricane. Used C-channels as skid and we can move it wherever we need. I think all the wood was excess off of the stalls i built in my new barn. We'll prolly even use hay to brush it this year....that just gave me an idea for a nice goose blind.

Brooks, The Good Lord made natural DuckBirdBlinds........they are called trees and work plenty well when you are still and standing in the shadow. Only kick the water when the birds are on the swing and you are on your DuckBird call. Works wonders I tell ya, and you don't have to piece them together. Just pick you ones out!!!!

[quote="forever draggin"]dear mr brooks sir, please do explain to me, as to why you texas fellars still build duckbird blinds out of materials and not rozos. First off there ain't no "rozos" this far north. But the main reason is if you find some birds and do any amount of shootin you are in for company in short order. And if YOU don't have a blind in the area, rest assured some scoundrel that heard you shooting WILL the next time you sneek into what you thought was a honey hole. We don't have near the surface area to spread out once you start heading north. I wish it would be illegal to make permanent blinds on any public waters, like a WMA. But that will never happen so you know what they say about what to do when in Rome.

 Re: DuckBlind Buildin'...
gotya, u boys are hunting public land, with no rozos. i always wondered that, cause where i hunt rozos grow on the lease. guess somethings are taken for granted sometimes.
