anyone know the ice chest seat in the bay boats, with the stainless lean back that swings either way, and the stainless tubing that surrounds the ice chest to keep it from moving. anyone have one they want to part with if they have an old one lying around, or know what they are called so i can go about getting one.

Buy an ice chest, put the 4 corners on the floor to hold it in place, get two thick pieces of aluminum flat bar with a bolt in the bottom of both and a bracket bolted to the floor that the flat bar can swivel on. Wrap a piece of 2x4 plastic with some cushion and vynal wrap then bolt the flat bar on each side. The brackets on the floor need to have stops on each side so it only swivels so much in each direction.

Probably cost you about 150 in materials and ice chest.

I'm proud you asked this querston. I thank I could use one just rite out in the middle of mines boathull. That way ifin' you want to fish foward you can and ifin' you wants to fish backwards you can. I had one fo a short period of time in a center console style boat and I wants another one. Somebody give us a lead on makin' the purchace of this style of applications.

The G3 version has 4 thumb screws to fix it to the floor.... Padding
is pretty soft - my G3 tunnel came with one in it..... I have thrown it in my
GDSD boat a couple of times too - length wise it works nice fer fishin
and boat blind huntin.... Its a bit too wide to walk around sideways in
a 48" wide hull...
