i just ordered a new dovetail for the farm from Protrak trailers in Willis Point, TX. Ive heard nothing but good things about them down here in LA. I was wondering if anyone else has one or heard something about them?

I"m not too far from Wills Point. I've never heard of them. It seems everyone around here pulls a Kearney......but I'm no trailer expert either

I looked at a couple of their trailers when I was in the market. I decided on a 3-car wedge trailer from Big-Tex in Mt. Pleasant, TX.

You must be moving something bigger than your tractor with that trailer.

What time are you leaving Lafayette? You might make it through Marshall around lunchtime.

Nothing wrong with a Protrak. I had a friend of mine work for them when they built them between Canton and Myrtle Springs. Bigtex is somewhat of the caddilac for trailers, but that does not mean the others are not just as good. I beleive Protrak uses Dexter axles just like big tex. I lived in Mt. Pleasant, Tx while I went to school. There must be 30+ trailer manufactures in that town! I got a 28 drop axle built by Norris in Mt. Pleasant. It is a triple axle with drive over fenders and dropped deck. It is the best all a round farm trailer. You guys down in LA probably have not seen many if any built like it. IMHO he makes the best trailer for the $.
