Texas Country and Classic Country. I like both, but they ain't necessarily the same. Jamey Johnson's album is the best to come around in a long time in regards to classic outlaw style country music. In the vein of Texas Style or "Americana" style country, Ryan Binghams album Mescalito is the best thing I've heard in years. Chris Knight is one of the greats. James McMurtry is also one of my favorites. I like the singer/songwriter type. The River song is my favorite Chris Knight song but the song posted by Crews is becoming one of my favorites too. I really like the Gourds too. However my favorite of all time is still Waylon.
