little boat

 little boatAnybody ever built a little pirogue (spelling) or poke boat? I need a little 1 man rig to get me about 300 to 400 yards back after I hide the boat while hunting. I'm talk'n 8' or under, 50lbs. or lighter, and CHEAP. I'm thinking about giving it a try with fiberglass and plywood. Any help or ideas please. Pics if you got them.

Re: little boat If you look on the Fuge you can find several. Some interesting foam and glass rigs in the 8-10 foot range. But for a lifetime build I'd go aluminum.

Re: little boat Never tried one but I like the design. Seems like it would be a good little layout that can be paddled easily.
