You know, I've never seen so much ignorance. The facts in the case clearly support self defense, it has nothing to do with color and it was an event that happened because the guy was getting attacked and cried for help for 45 seconds and no one came and he had to do what he had to do. I hear all this stuff about getting rid of the stand your ground law. So what they are saying is that they want to take away my right to defend myself? Screw them. The media should be burned at the stake for all this as well as the no good race baiters who are fueling the fire. They are portraying this like it's unsafe for black kids to be out in public like we're in the 60's where the kkk would track down blacks and lynch them. That is simply not true but now we have these blacks that are hunting down whites and beating them up in trayvon's honor. They holler about racism but they are just as bad as the kkk members who really did lynch folks back in the day. These people are deep into this train of thought that the verdict was wrong but yet it was perfectly fine when OJ got off despite having mountains of evidence against him. The system worked for OJ but yet the system failed for trayvon when the evidence proved it was self defense? At the end of the day George Zimmerman did receive a life sentence in the fact that he had to take a life and I can bet he, nor anyone of us would ever want to have to do. Even though justifiable, he has that on his heart for life. The other life sentence is that he can never go out out in public in fear for his life, all for having to defend his own life. America has become so fucked up that we are actually having all of this due to a man having to defend himself. A sad time for our country. |
