 Friend's dad has epic fail
All jokes aside, glad my buddy's dad is ok other than a broken rib and a few bad scrapes. He thinks he didn't have the truck fully in the park position. It rolled about 50 yards down a hill and lodged in some mountain laurel. Boat and trailer had minimal damage (a few deep gelcoat scratches and some bent stuff on the trailer. The truck took the brunt on the tailgate and driver door, the front actually wasn't bad except for the valence under the bumper. The duramax yanked em out, boat then truck.

Looks like that boat went through the tailgate like a javelin.

Re: Friend's dad has epic fail
it hit with some force. Notice how the boat broke the heavy duty ratchet straps and slid 2-3 feet up the trailer. It broke the brace off the front that holds the roller/bumper for the nose of the boat.
