I have a permit for this year. You just have to get out and do some scouting to see were the duck birds a flyin. Usually the west end is a great spot. |

Looking at the map the only spots are on the east side of the lake? Can you hunt the west side or are you restricted to your spot? |

12 years ago we had a blind on the south side of the lake that was pretty good hunting...but I haven't been there since. Does anyone know if there is any mud to run in on that lake? My parents live in Hempstead now, so I get down there every so often...thought I might drag the boat out there to run around some time if there is some good mud or veggies. Sorry to hijak the thread, by the way... |

Nails creek is the public duck hunting part but I believe the drawn blinds are on the east end and only the permited hunters with blinds can huntcthere but not sure. I'll holla at you later bout it |
