Well any of you ever crushed your nose? last nights BBall game got a little nast on the boards and my face found a elbow. I don't know the terms but where my nose conects to my eye socket is gone on the left side. Then the bone down the center is broke in 3 places forming a nice smooth backwards C with my nose. I think it makes an improvement but my wife don't think so. Dosnt hurt but it bleed like a torn tant. ERs don't do crap for noses so monday I'm off to see what the plastic surgen can do for me. been looking to see diffent procedured they do on noses and DANG this could hurt. Anyone got first hand report on how bad the bone reconstructin will be. |

Hate to hear that. According to my wife (surgery nurse) nose surgery seems to be some of the most painful. Good luck. |

Well I be a cats litter box.......I got to go under the knife tomorrow morning. I swear if I didn't have insurance they would just fix this dang thing...... I'm not nervous about the surg tis will be number 5 but I hate niddles.....I dint get shots nore to I get injections to set bones and such....... I will be a squrmin mofo when they start the IV...... later |

Did you pick out a decent lookin nose for the replacement???????? Maybe a John Wayne or Clint Eastwood lookin nose.  The wife says to get the Brad Pitt nose but I aint sure.

Been laid up for 2 days and it looks like i didn't mis anything around here,,,,,,,,,,,,,still a bunch of talk about nothing........still harder than hell to post pics............boats, motors, and curling irons still break...... Poker if you wife does this everyday to people i wouldn't piss her off. I pulled the tampons out of my nose and crap that is uncomfortable.......... OH AND HOW CAN YOU HAVE A PICTURE THAT IS 625 WIDE AND 0 PIXELS HIGH?????? |

they gave me something that had me loopy until i told my wife no more....after that i figured our fast you cant take ibuprofen (sp) cuz it causes you to bleed more. anyways...Brooks it looks simple don't it........why don't i give you an elbow to the eye socket and ill even pay the 8K to get it fixed and lets see if you can whistle Dixie the next day. |

It does not "thin" your blood. Iduprofin, Naproxen, acetaminiphine are all NASAID's (non steroidal, anti, inflammatory drugs) They dilate blood vessels, that is why it has anti-inflammatory properties. So much stupidity, so little time. TonyB,,,,,,,,,,,you either need to fix the picture thing or give me a raise. I got to get something out of this. |
