 Re: CHARLES DALY
Decent gun for the money. There's nothing inherently bad about the design but their quality control sucks. Several parts on the gun are pot metal and subject to failure. The bolt pull is one of those parts. The camo dipping is cheap and thin. My buddy and I each bought one for a back up gun. I sold mine. His son shoots his. His gun has been back to the manuf. 5 or 6 times. They send him a brand new gun each time. One the up-side, I have heard of several that turned into full auto in the field. So that's a plus.

 Re: CHARLES DALY
Not a fan. Although they have a descent feel for the money, I think they are somewhat poorly constructed. I tried to shoot one for a little while and repeatedly had trouble wit the firing pin.
A friend of mine tried his luck with a different charles daly and experienced the same problem. Those are my only experiences with the manufacture, but I was not impressed.

heard lots of bad, and not much good... I think one of the best deals out there on a 3" auto loader is the Beretta 3901...

 Re: CHARLES DALY
this is not chit.... a buddy of mine won a daly at a du banquet. He was talking alot of crap about how the gun didnt matter and he was gonna kill a ton of ducks with it. Even gave it a name..."The Daly Special". Opening day of teal season he brought it out and within 5 minutes (thats no joke) it had rust ALL over it!.. I laughed my ass off!!! He was ashamed to even shoot it then. He broke out the browning and left "the daly special" in the gun bag the rest of the day.
