Post subject:  prayers plz
well me and the wife are headed to the hospital in a few minutes. my wife is pregnant and due november 5th but she's had bad blood pressure issues. possibly early stages of preeclampsia. just paged the doc and he said to come on.......don't know if they are going to induce tonight or what but plz include us in your prayers. hopefully everything will work out ok.

My wife had preclampsia and our son was seven weeks early. He weighed 3lbs when he was born.

It's pretty scarry but I'm sure yall will be fine.

My little boy is runnin around like a maniac.....eating dogfood....beating up kids at daycare.....you name it.

Anyway good luck....and let us know how everything turns out.

Prayers wit ya... out of 4 children 3 were 5-6 weeks early and all three were normal weight w/ no health issues. Very lucky. But trust me even if they come out as a runt doesn't mean theys goin to stay that way.

It's basically a hypertension disorder in pregnant women caused by restricted blood flow to the placenta. Thus causing the fetus to not get enough nutrients resulting in slow growth. It can also cause kidney failure and liver damage if not caught early enough. Syptoms are rapid weight gain, fluid retention and high blood pressure.

finally home......thanks for the thoughts and prayers. they ran several tests and they put her on bed rest until her next appointment which is later next week. baby is doing fine. the wife is doing good also, she was pretty nervous last night on the way to the hospital. and i'm good too other than feeling like someone slipped in the room last night and snapped my spine. i may just sleep in da floor when we have to go back. so we'll have to wait a little longer i guess for the new addition to the family....

good lookin' boy you have there Woodpeckerlips. my wife's best friend had to go through basically what you described so that makes her a little more on edge about things.
