Our neighbors caught one in the Wax near the ICW fishing for Sac-a-lat back in the late 70s.

They got sharks all over the delta side and the wax. And you thought you had to worry about gators getting your dogs.
If it can hold redfish, it can hold certain kinds of sharks.

My friend caught some black tips (thats what he said it was, we don't know much about sharks) in the summer on high tide not far from the blind in the atch. delta.

I hate a damn shark. The second the tide goes slack, those bait stealing bastages start jacking up the rods. Sharks, skates and rays

they caught one last summer in duck lake, it was a 6 foot bull, had it hanging from a tree for a few months. kinda freaky.

but around the wax, full of sharks, but they stay in the channels for the most part

They have caught sharks recently as far up as simmesport in avoyelles parish. I believe they were caught in 07. Thats got to be atleast 100 miles up river.

We caught some stingrays one day in front the old crab factory in Berwick. The dude that was guiding them caught a bull shark the week after that show filmed in the upper spillway I believe he said.

I had head of them being caught in the basin also. Bull sharks are very tolerant of fresh water. Learned that from animal planet.

Over our way, they've been caught on trotlines in the Tangipahoa and Tickfaw Rivers.

nuthin makes a good bluegill hole like a 6' bullshark hangin from a cypress tree. One has no idea how many maggots a rotten shark can produce until he loads up a few icechests of bull bream from underneath one. lol
