I got the pleasure to spend 2 days this past week at phils house with GT!! What a kool guy to talk to.. When i say down home i really mean it!! Duck hunting just aint somthing that puts food on the table but he really loves to hunt ducks he's like a kid once he gets started talking about it he will sit and talk about shooting ducks all day!! LOL I ain't about th green i like to shoot all of them LOL.. I think you put him and brooks in the same place and they would talk till daylight!! LOL Kyle and Hoyt had beards and of course i just got a little go-te!! He said yall might make some duck hunters but this hear feller he looks like a psychologist!! :lol: Dam i been called alot of things but a psychologist!! :lol: Well just wanted to share a little with you fellers about a pretty kool experance i had!! :D

i spent a day with him with my nephew yea he really is a cool dude tought me alot of stuff no wonder they call me the meat man just wait til opening day :x

damn, thats cool man. Thats sumpin us IL fellas can only dream of. I always liked the videos, but I really like the TV series. That group of hunters seems like people you would have to be an a hole not to have fun with. Congrats, you have done something others never will! :D

Yeah man, I don't want what everyone else wants, I want Phil and his crew to come up here and hunt with me and my crew on an Il hunt and give me his opinion of the way we hunt. His whole family reminds me of my relatives in the Oakdale La area. Good people with proper values.

On the tv series one of the guys is talking about a fella from PA and said
"Two things you never do while duck hunting are talk bad about a man's dog or his calling, but if the man asks, you are ok to tell him his calling sucks!"

Yea, me and a buddy of mine used to run over to his place at least a coupla times a year. This was back when he was doing the calls himself outta a ahern shed in de back yard!

Wow, what an awesome experience. Congrats, you are one lucky dude. Funny they joked about your gote. They sure do like their beards. And the best thing is you saved the 10 grand meeting them!!! :shock:
