Pirate4x4 has the best tech HANDS DOWN. If your a panzy and at dumb you walk the plank. You need thick skin to post there. Search throughout the sections and you will get whatever information you need. |

Dudes, i've been posting and lurking on all of them...jeepforumcom, jkowners.com, jk-forum.com...Had to learn quick not to post on one of them about my aftermarket soft top...several locked threads and threats of be banned...pretty funny stuff. And i love the Jeep!! Woody |

1. some say from a popeye cartoon in during the WW2 era, the popeye cartoon had "eugene the jeep" who always went everywhere, so the soldiers called the vehicle jeep b/c it would go everywhere. 2. one hitch can tow multiple sized trailer tounges. no need to carry multiple hitch balls. |

| I was just puttin' fun on Woodys 'bout the multiple hitchin' balls !!! Thats all !!! I understood that the term "Jeep" came from the Big War and it derived from one of them military slangs that the "General Purpose" veichle was shortin' to "GP". "Go git the "GP" Private and drive the Capton". When you say GP fast it sounds like "Jeep". |

I have always thought it was the slang for GP as well... Hey Brooks, that multipurpose hitch thingy is purty slick don't you think? Never have to worry about what ball you need...and it's got a big ole hook also...perfect for grabbing your leg when your walking around the back of the jeep. Woody |

Yep, that's my crib in the background...we got a moat too that we keep stocked with hybrids... The deal with the soft top is that the guy selling/making them is basically a one/two man shop and he hand makes each one...got a bad rep for not returning emails and phone calls...and delivery time is about 2 months...but, everyone that has bought a top did eventually get it and everybody agrees that the quality, fit and look are all top notch. I love mine! One of the forums basically will ban you if you even mention the name of the manufacturer. My next thing was to get some side steps...i was going to go with some nerf bars, but instead got a great deal on some factory Sahara steps that are much easier for the kiddos to crawl up into it.
