 Re: Wax outlet

 Re: Wax outlet
I have my camp down the cut also, and we only got about 6" extra of water. So, you dont have anything to worry about.

 Re: Wax outlet
6 as in inches, we had a north wind the whole time, no surge, just high river water. My dad went ride down there yesterday and water was no different than is was on Sunday.
Also, and this is no BS post trying to keep hunters away from there, but since I've been hunting down there (since 1996) I've never seen the absolute lack of ducks the week before the season like there is this year!!! With the feed this year that place should be swarming with ducks. I went out @ first light on Sunday morning to see what was flying at shooting time and I literally saw 10 ducks in the air. Normally there would be thousands in the air, maybe not coming into the bar your on, but at least flying around. I honestly hope they show up this week so everyone is able to have decent hunts.

 Re: Wax outlet
thanks for the tide report. i was worried about my lease by intercoastl city.
we finally got the weirs put up and we have more good feed than i can remember. i am glad the saltwater didn't kill all the feed like preveious yrs.
btw, i ain't seen any ducks yet to talk about. that's marsh, fausse point, and the basin.
gonna be slim pickins this weekend.

 Re: Wax outlet
My lease is on Bayou Penchant and we have NO birds. Nothing, Nada, Zip. I took a ride down to the Delta and there is nothing there either. Where the hell are they? We have tons of feed everywhere but no birds. Can't seem to win down here anymore.
