Post subject:  Importing, Editing and Joining Videos on PC

I have some videos I took with just my regular video camera and uploaded them to my computer and the default program at the time was Quicktime Player

I tried importing them into Windows Movie Maker but it wont let me and I'm guessing it is because they are saved in a format that Quicktime uses.

I have changed the porperties to open in Windows Media Player but it wont play it shows bad file name or something.

What I mostly want to do is take some time away from a few of them but then join them all together.

Any help or recommendations would be awesome!

I'm no expert but there are programs that will convert a video format into MPEG so you can import it... Check into AVI to MPEG converter Google it I'm sure there's something free out there. Send TonyB a PM he knows his stuff.
