Life is good
Went ride the lake this afternoon. Saw a couple hundred duckbirds including quite a few mallards. Called Mudhole to go but he was having some kind of party. Said it was a race watchin party but I think it was code for circle jerk. Who wants to watch cars driving around in a circle for a couple hours? No wonder he only got 50 hours on that 2 1/2 year old PD. Went and ate me some crawfishing for the second time this week and topped it off with some blue claws and miller lite. I might be able to face going to work in the am now.

Re: Life is good
Damn I'm jealous... Hard to find good one's in DFW
Used to get my bugs at Shaver's or Crawfish Palace...
Ain't no restuarant that can cook em as good as me, but when I'm in town I usually go to Shane's for a quick fix.
You need to come run Texoma for the day and bring me a sack while yer at it!

Did the seafood thing myself. Fried up a lil seafood platter last night. Shrimp, oysters, and frog legs.

What they running a lb live/boiled? Trying to decide to go see the Classic this weekend or go hog hunting. Never been to the Classic and hate cleaning pigs, so might be in Sport this weekend! Would love some bugs and a sweep da kitchen at Johnny's! Damn I miss that pizza, and I ain't much on pizza...

Re: Life is good
I saw one place was offering low interest financing with any purchase of 40 or more pounds of bugs.
Down my way they are running just under 4.00 a pound boiled average,I think I saw some live the other day for 3.25 but the problem is nobody can get sacks. The suppliers cannot meet the demand at least that's what every place we talked to is saying.I do not give a chit as long as someone else is buying.
