too bad the pretty ducks don't fly down here anymore, it costs alot of money to go down the delta for a weekend to shoot blacks and coots.

We have so many coots around here that you shoot them till you run out of shells or till your blue in the face. I herd the gizzards are pretty good eating but not real sure about that

if u go shoot sum, filet the breasts and cook them either pan fried or however u usually cook ur ducks and u will see that they taste delecious.
the gizzards are great too, but i give them to my dad to eat.

The best damn gumbo I have ever had was pool deau that my dad cooks hands down. And is with gizaards and all.
