Does MB do there own casting in house for the outdrive on there units? or is it mass produced and shipped in. any body know? |

pretty sure it's mass production, shipped in. when i ordered mine, they were out of my motor (after 4 weeks of waitin) so they offerred me a discount on a 35, then they found out they were out of the outdrive for that one. all i could say was wow. |

most, if not all of the mm co's get individual parts or sections of their motors from differant vendors, then just assemble the units and ship them out. it's cheaper and faster that way. |

if i'm not mistaken Gator Tail is the only company that is self contained with their own CMC machines that make all their parts, the only thing that they order in is the Engines. I'm pretty sure thats correct! |
