Post Flounder set up question
Howdy yall,

Got a 1860 with a 35 GTR and was interested in maybe rigging up a flounder deck with lights, rail, etc...My question is this, how do all you guys steer the boat when gigging/bowfishing? Is there a way to rig up a remote steer on the bow like normal flounder boats have with a fan? Or do y'all just leave one guy back on the motor or wheel to steer while the others gig/shoot on the front. Thanks!

Post Re: Flounder set up question
I use gigs made from bamboo with SS tips. I just put 2 people on the front and let them steer it with the gigs... Wind pushes us along just fine. These hulls do not track well.

Here's my flounder deck. TXSHOCKWAVE here on the forum built it for me. I have 3 lights on a bracket & mount that fits into the receiver hitch. I run (3) 500W lights & that's it.
