I'm going with Alabama with a lopsided win. Nothing against Texas but I believe Bama is stronger.

Shaf I'm not basing my 'game winning guess' on stats. I have watched both teams play and feel Bama will come out on top. I am by no means a expert guesser but will stand by my decision. Sorry I that I have lost stock value with you.

Right now its about ten degrees here and I'm drinking coffee and waiting for it to warm up a few degrees so I can go to the river and run nets. I'm kinda jacked up on caffeine.

Texas has top 10 defense and offense... something BAMA does not have. Don't count my horns out they have been in this position before!

ya ya, you can compare stats all day long and Bama is the obvious favorite but Texas will be ready to play! Texas can pass the ball better than Florida. It will be a close game in my opinion.

Well we will see who comes out on top. Bama has proven themselves against some of da best (top 10 ranked) teams dis year ( No. 7 Virginia Tech / No. 9 LSU / vs. No. 1 Florida ). Texas has not had a really hard schedule like Bama has so we really have not seen how they will stack up when faced wit top 10 team.

Quack we are thinking alike! See its a win win situation for me. If Texas wins you guys can rib me for my lack of game guessing. However I don't have to sign onto MMT to take the ribbing, but I will. Now if Texas does win I will be able to wear my brother inlaws ass out because he is a big time Bama fan.
I still believe Bama will win.
On another note I would rather be watching Army/Navy game because they give 110 percent and go back to the huddle after each play. Not like th game we are going to see where a DT makes a tackle he runs around going look at me look at me. Or a DB almost gets a intercetpion and runs down the field acting like he did get the 'ception or going look at me. I am sick of this. When you play football and make a tackle that is your job. It would be like me writing someone a speeding ticket and spiking the ticket book beside their car.

20 yrs now Shaf and still going. I'm 5-0 at night and run nets during the day. Shaf if your bored come up and go on a ride along with me and then we will go on the river and check nets.

See my signature - I hate Bama. But SEC will win over Big-12 once again. Yes Texas has been there before - but so has Saban. The man is dominate, and anyone who says he's not the best coach in college football today is mistaken IMO.

Colt and the guys will prove they deserve to be there and will be the Champions. Its gonna be a close game, no doubt but UT will win. GO HORNS!!!!

They are both great teams or else they wouldn't have made it to the final. I am from texas and i support all my texas teams but If Texas plays like they did against A&M they won't have a chance. Plus i think that Alabama might take this one, all in all they are both great teams.

I used to like watching SEC football. The GA/FlA game, UT/AL etc. History, rivalry, tradition. But you gotdang interweb fans that root for the SEC like it's a team make me root for other schools.
I'm from VA. I grew up watching UVA. Everyone in my family went to VT. I can barely stomach VT. I root against every other team in the ACC. I'd pull for Osama Bin Laden against Miami in volleyball.
But noooo, you "SEC Fans" pull for your arch rival in some mistaken hope that Alabama winning the NC will elevate the ass kicking they handed your team during the season.
TCU whipped Virginia (a lot of folks did this year ) so I smiled a little when BSU won the game. Apologies to Sand Man, but if your team beats my team....I ain't pulling for them.

Gotta go with bama on this one all the way. Texas is no match for the sec. Think they'd have a hard time beating sec teams that struggled this year, like FL, LSU, TENN, even GA. They stand no chance against Bama the way bama's been playing recently. I wish FL would have made it to the big show, but they didn't play very impressively all year long, until they spanked Cinci. Oh well, prolly end up at second place after TX gets whipped.

The Colt turned into a Red Rider. People have to understand how rough the SEC really is and the players play the same no matter if they are conference or non-conference.
