I've been wanting to toke on a fine cigar but unsure of what kind to try. Any recommendations on kind and a source to purchase through. Not interested in a Red Hair blunt, tobacco only

I'm still smoking my way though a box of Bill Clinton signature series from back in the day.
Might have gone off the tubes are kind of sticky and the cigars fishy?

Anything by Drew Estate. My absolute favorite is the Naturals series by Drew Estate. Big Jucy or Jucy Lucy

Fuente are very consistent, I can't always afford their top models, usually get by with curly heads with the maduro wrapper.

GO to one of the online and get a sampler. This will help you figure out what you like. Most good cigars will cost at least $5 a stick. Some of my favorite makers are Rocky Patel, Carivarl ( Gloria de leon), Drew Estate. Also before you drop a bill on cigars get a humidor. No reason to spend the money for the cigars to go bad. Also do some reading on how to cut a cigar. If you cut it past the ring on the cap it will fall apart when you smoke it.

Some of my favorite cigars that I think are good for beginners if you were to go in to a local shop and build a sampler in order of how strong they are:

Rocky Patel Vintage 99 Connecticut
CAO Italia
Flor de las Antillas
Aj Fernandez New World
Undercrown

Once you find what you like, hit up cigarbid.com - It's an offshoot of cigars international. Also the guys over at smallbatchcigar.com are top notch. www.reddit.com/r/cigars is a wealth of knowledge as well.

When you have a spare half hour to kill - this is a really interesting video of the Rocky Patel Factory tour - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npoawQ9cej0
