We need to make this place fun again. I miss the days of DDM and Giga fighting. I miss the talk about which brand motor was better. Forever Draggin was admin for a day. Chaz still had a Gatortail. John Ledoux was dancing to Miley Cyrus. The Lake Boeuf grass run was still fun. We were happy with 32 MPH rigs. Man times have changed.

Here's one for ya'll. I joined a group Deep south mud motors on fb. Only to drop it less than 24 hours later, when I figured out it was aka's page.

Maybe if Dean was let back in at least we could have fun arguing with him.

It has tamed down a lot since I first joined and i haven't been here that long.

Makes me wish I had gotten into mud motors years earlier. Nothing like internet crap slinging to keep one motivated.

I think I originally registered in 2009, but had to reregister at some point for whatever reason. It has been very entertaining.

I got on here just to get info on a used long tail I had picked up on a rifle trade.

One day I stumbled into the politics thread, and got hooked on doing back and forth with Dean. It did not take but a couple years and I had written volumes of stuff. I never put my real name out there, but folks knew I was an active duty field grade officer.

My second to last year as a Professor Of Military Science, we got a memo from higher forcing us to side with the whole LGBT deal. I sat down and penned a 2000 word essay on why two men sodomizing each other is not something I was about to get behind. I hit "reply all", and it went to over 200 officers. In nothing flat, it had blown up like a fart in church. In a matter of hours my reply had made it to 4 star level, and folks got all puckered up, worrying that it would hit media. As it turns out, not many folks want to be your friend when the political correct police come after you. I had to get a lawyer to fight a 2 star level General Officer Memorandum of Reprimand. My lawyer asked if there was anything on the internet that I had wrote that may cause concern at higher levels. I did not say a word about my stuff on MMT, but sure thought about it. My lawyer had connections at FOX News, and wanted my story to be across America. I was not so fired up about that idea and preferred to keep the fight in the shadows.

Heck, it took me a week to try and scrub all my old writings on MMT. I had visions of some poor Colonel at the Pentagon having to slog through pages and pages of Mud Motor Talk to see if I violated any UCMJ by making comments that were out of line. I stayed off MMT for over a year.

In the end my reprimand got thrown out. The Army discovered that science does not bow the knee to Obama, and that you can not force soldiers to celebrate men sodomizing each other and that free speech is still free (at least for a little while).

Now that I am retired, I can write what ever I want.

This place is awesome.
