Thats how our marsh was saturday and sunday. Its a wicked sound breaking ice with an aluminum boat thats for sure.

I have only had to thru ice like that a couple time and the it just doesn’t sounds like I’m going to be spending lots of money after this trip.

Yeah, dats how it was for us sunday mournin. I aint never seen nuthin like it before must be dat global warmin they been tellin us bout.

Got new raceing stripes down both sides from the ice taking the paint down to the primer. New it wasn't gone to be pretty when we started breaking ice in the main canal a 1/4 mile from getting into the cut to the marsh!

I shot a deer Saturday morning punching thru ice pretty much like that. It was something to see as he came walking in, he had to make deliberate steps picking each foot straight up and down to punch thru. Loud as all hell...but he could have cared less. THe tracking job was very unique as I just followed the holes in the ice and broken ice chunks on top the ice.

I like cold weather.....but dragging that deer out in that freeze was a bitch. Frozen swamp is hard on the knees and shins. What usually takes 30 minutes took me an hour and a half.
