Quite common up here in the white north. Lots of trapper run them early ice as well as us fishermen. I am in the process of making another one this winter. |

I've seen a several up here similar to that for ice fishing. I passed one on my four wheeler a couple times on a bigger lake north of me. Pretty kick ass units and I wouldn't mind building one. I've got a couple old hulls sitting around and a honda 5 hp vertical that would be prefect. We don't have the option of using our boats all year like guys down South, so we have to be inventive Rangerp! |

I grew up in Michigan but never ice fished. I am putting in on my list of things to do in the next year or so. |
