Looking at at 2015 ram 1500 with about 24,000 miles on it. Went look at it yesterday and it is mint inside and out. I did however notice that it has 35's on it, Mickey Thompson baja. I've seen that truck there for a while, but no one is going top pay that for a 2015 when they can spend a little more an get a new one. I made a real low ball offer and for about a week, we have been going back and forth. He is real close to my figure. But one thing that I haven't asked because he wouldn't know it what kind of MPG can I expect from the Ram 1500 4x4 with 35's? Options does say it has the 3.92 rear end which should help, but if I'm only going to get 10-12 mpg, @$%^ that!!! haha

It is also still a dodge gasser. Really think hard about that. Gassers with 35's wont get good mileage no matter the ratio. 14 ish hwy 11-12 city. I've been in this game for a while.

2015 has the newer tranny so it gets better fuel economy than the 14 and older. A Co worker had a 15 4x4 crew cab with 35" trail grapplers and got 18-19 all day long on the highway and 14ish in the city. It gets better MPG than my 14 Sierra with 33" ridge grapplers.

We had a 2014 ram 1500 with 33s as one of our company trucks with the 5.7 and the rear end went out before 100k. Sumnbitch hauled ass tho. Until my brother in law ran it up on top of a wall trying to avoid a wreck in Atlanta. Wish I still had the picture. It was dead center balancing on top of a 5 foot high median wall. That was the end of it.

Your gas gauge is going to look like a compass....always pointing east!

What gas station do you use the most? Let me know if you buy the truck so I can go buy some stock in that refiner!

Granted...this was way back, when...I had a Dodge 3/4 ton 2WD...it was an 80’s vintage (82?), had a 360 with a 3 speed manual and a granny. That thing did not pass a gas station when I was pulling my horse trailer or my fifth wheel camper! But, that was a running and pulling son of a gun!

It didn’t get much better economy when it wasn’t pulling something. Can’t remember what rear end it had, though? Probably geared pretty low for the pulling aspect.

I have a 2017 RAM 1500 4x4 with stock tires / rims, 5.7 L hemi with 3.21 rear end and I get 15-16 around town 16-19 on the road depending on altitude, hills, wind, driving speed. My home base is at 2300ft altitude.

Well i decided to go back with GM. Read way too much on the MPG. There was another hemi 2wd that was clean as a pin, but couldn't do black leather. Shit would be hot as hell. Ended up getting another GM 2wd. Gonna pick up wed.
