 Boat Insurance
Any body out there have $1,000,000 coverage on their boat. Need it to travel some oilfield property for liability purposes. Progressive will only go to 500,000 and the Gecko is high! Boats US is closed due to the weather up there. Thanks for any leads.

 Re: Boat Insurance
If you had business insurance it should fall under that. Might be cheaper to get some Business General Liability insurance. I would check with State Farm. They just insured my Aucoin no questions asked. Not sure about the limits of coverage though.

 Re: Boat Insurance
Get an umbrella policy. It will boost your liability limits on everything you own that meets the minium coverage limit (house, car, personal liability, etc.)

 Re: Boat Insurance
x 2 on what Wilson said.
I assumed it was a personal deal cause you said "travel" like cross to get to my duck lease.
If it is commercial, you need a good insurance agent to help.

 Re: Boat Insurance
its for us to be able to fish where our hunting lease is. Vermillion corp requires 1 million liability policy to cover their butts while crossing thier property.
Just get an umbrella policy and youll be fine. That is the only thing that will cover what the corp wants that will not kill you in premium.
Most insurance companies will not give you a 1 million dollar liability limit on a boat. i know we dont, progressive wont, and other companies wont either. and if you do find a company that will, get ready to pay out of your butt.

 Re: Boat Insurance
We pay our insurance premiums through the people we lease from. Ask Vermillion Corp where other leaseholders are getting their insurance.
