well, ol dude passed away today. his liver gave finally gave out and he went downhill quick. He knew it was comming. we all did. wasn't a lab, but probly been on more duckhunts than most. loved to ride the lawnmower, golfcart, 4-wheeler, airboat, and was happiest in the truck. gonna miss him. |

I feel lucky to have had the chance to meet him, scratch his ears and ride in the airboat with him. He was a great friend and I know you will miss him. |

yep, we had sum good times. i'm just glad he was around as long as he was. he would of been gone years ago if he hadn't had that operation. we'll be cleaning up doghair and finding old chewtoys for a year!!!!  thanks, laureen and i apperciate the kind words. |

Sorry to hear that man. We had our string of bad luck with bird dogs for a few years. We lost about 4 all under the age of 5. I feel your pain man. |

I'm sorry to hear that. People def. get attached to animals. I have a lab that I love more than most family members. Any idea what caused his liver failure? Never heard of this happening to a young dog. |
