This is kinda like the email that was going around about Obama wanting you to file your guns on your taxes. IT'S a RUMOR. Some cities and states are known for their fishing, i mean come on this is not going to happen.YOu can go 8 miles into the gulf and be in federal waters, he can't stop that!

The Federal Gov't can't pass a law contolling Federal waters? :?

btw....state water is 9 miles out.....Feds control 9-200 miles out

The limits and restrictions in this guide apply to aquatic life caught in the public waters of Texas out to nine (9) nautical miles in the Gulf of Mexico, and also apply to aquatic life caught between 9 and 200 nautical miles in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and landed in this state. (Federal law also regulates species between 9 and 200 nautical miles managed under a Federal Fishery Management Plan.)
