looks like it goes on a GT lower unit. the shaft housing would fit through the slot you cut open. |

Got a buddy o mine that works for Hannagriffs machine shop that makes a better design than that. Not knocking that one but the other one works better. Brother in law had one jus like the one in you pic along wit another friend o mine and they crack. Trick is, ya cant let the rooster tail hit it. The vibration will crack it. |

Ive seen the one in the picture work. In open water it will suck the back of the boat under water it backs up so hard. Water will not come over the back of the boat like the normal GTR reverse but it will roll enough water (due to the speed of backing up) to start coming in the boat. Bad azz in water. Never saw it in lillies or mud. I crawfish wit mine and wish I had that, but I dont want to drill holes in my motor yet. |
