Just wanted to bring everyone up to speed on where we're at. After the second mammogram and an ultrasound, the dr said he thought it was cystic fibrosis and referreed her to a specialist. When we went to see him, he says it looks to him like it's benign and gave her 2 options. Either come back in 6 months and let me look at it again, or have a biopsy done. Needless to say, she had a biopsy yesterday and we're once again waiting for news over a long w/e. God willing, we'll get good news Tues or Wed. Thanks to all those who kept her in your prayers, we really appreciate it. |

I think Turbo & George went yesterday, not sure. Me & Lil Man went this mornin and met them out there. We only put 2 reds in the boat, and only 1 was legal. Think they put a few in the box tho. |

Thanks again, guys. Right now she's bein a trouper. It's weighin on her, but she's tryin not to show it to everyone. She still gets bummed out now & then tho. |

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease and can be tested for easily. One is a sweat test that they should have done right away if the suspected CF and the other is a dna test which takes longer. We'll keep y'all in our prayers. |

 Got the word from the dr today........................and I got to say "I told ya so!!!!!" Doc says it's all good!!! She still has to do a follow up visit to check the incisions and stuff. Said that's when she'll get the official word as to what the fuss was all about, but it was nothin and ever'thang's okey dokey!!!!!!!!! Whooo waaaaahhhhh to the power of prayer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys, but most of all thank you, Lord God Almighty!!!! |
