I havent seen the topic come up so I would like to remind every one about safety. I know its probably sounds corney But please keep it in mind. Kill switches, please wear them. In the narrow ditches in and around the flats use caution when running them. Lot of boats and people in close proximity. I will volunteer the morning of the ride to put up caution flags in trouble areas. and would like help doing so. This run is for fun and dont need an careless accident 2 ruin the fun. be safe. Please feel free to add to any safety concerns so they may be addresed.

Great post Jay, me and you both know first hand how easy it is to have an accident out there. Lucky for us the timing was just right to only dent the boat and not hurt anybody, yall be careful out there guys.

There will be a real short meeting and overview of safety before we all head to the flats.

There will probably be 2 groups that leave from the launch so one of the locals guys, Take'Em, Turbodrive, TeamCamo, Clickster, The Legend etc are all very familiar with the area as are many others I failed to mention. One of those guys can I'm sure help out and lead a group to the flats.

When you launch and have the truck parked please motor over to the far side of the river and park on the sandy shoreline. There, one of the guys mentioned above will review additional safety and explain the area.

Although I am not attending the run, from a safety standpoint one suggestion may be to ask boaters use safety flag sticks. Good visual that extends over most marsh grass in tight runs/ditches where there is other boat traffic.

InstaGator911 is in my boat so I'll definitely help put out whatever we need. Even if we need to go out an hour early to do it.
