Guy is Charlie out of Venetian isle in New Orleans east. It took 16 months. $190 a duck no matter how you want it. He does good work but you will wait for ever.

Haha I understand, I meant check out the place where ya got the duck done up at. Wouldn't ask ya for a spot, our buddies run a camp up there.

Them dudes draw every morning for blinds and if people screw each other over during the hunt, because the public blinds are literally in sight of one another, they will fist fight at the launch. They wouldnt let me shoot some pintails hovering right over the blind because there was a large group of mallards working over another blind. It was killing me.

Damn, seems like they care bout limits more than the actual joy of the hunt and seeing birds. Let's see if you n your buddy would want to take a trip with us. Private property, 12-15 blinds over flooded corn fields. Be nice to meet some more hunters in the area

I dropped off a bufflehead to Ronnie last week and took some pictures of his work. His work looked good. Here are a few pics I took of his mounts.

Glad it worked out. I have had mottled duck done but I killed one this year that is probably prettiest one of I've ever seen and saw one he had done that was cupped. Had to get it done. Got a hoodie that's being mounted on plaque that will sit on end table pretty stoked.


Y'all give him a shot. I imagine once season is over he'll probably be any quicker.

You see that big awesome grey in there. Brought an old co worker and he killed that with me in PLH. I made him take it to Ronnie it was so good. Probably one of the best ones I've seen. Heck it's so pretty had I pulled the trigger at all I'd of claimed it!

Next week I'll be on the hunt for a new wood duck in Joyce or Pearl. The one Charlie did just looks so shitty on the wall next to the ones Ronnie has done. I hate looking at it.

I picked up my bufflehead from Ronnie yesterday. The feet look like a $130 mount but otherwise I am very impressed with this mount. Thanks again Chase for referring Ronnie.
