Not to impressed with this mount. Just wanted to see what everyone else thought about it. Just doesn't look very "dead" to me. In my opinion

Looks like he wanted to show all the colors on the woody. Pictures don't do justice to any waterfowl but it looks ok to me.

The wings are what is throwing it off. Not a horrible mount at all tho. IMO, the best way to show off a wood duck is a standing or preening mount.

Its a nice mount. The wings make you do a second look, but you should still be proud of it. I once had a wigeon that the taxidermist mounted the wings- one forward and one backwards flying. That ended up being given away in a garage sale. So compared to my wigeon, that looks spectacular..
